South Korean institutions advance automotive and mobility education
Korea University of Technology and Education (KOREATECH) is conducting a specialized training program for Moroccan automotive vocational instructors. In collaboration with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), 13 instructors from Morocco's IFMIA and OFPPT are participating in a 14-day intensive course from September 6 to 19. The curriculum focuses on advanced technical skills, including mold design and verification, injection mold analysis, industrial robot utilization, and Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing.
Separately, in Incheon, the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education partnered with GM Technical Center Korea to host the ‘2026 Future Mobility Academy’. The program provided 120 middle school students with hands-on experience in automotive R&D environments. Students explored various engineering fields, such as engineering calibration, climatic wind tunnel testing, and emission testing, while receiving career mentoring from professional engineers to encourage interest in the converging technologies of the mobility industry.
