South Korean lawmaker Kim Jung-jae holds 64th Communication Day in Pohang
Kim Jung-jae, a member of the People Power Party representing Pohang‑North, convened the 64th “Communication Day” on 25 May at his regional office. The event gathered local residents and representatives from various groups, including a social worker from S Hospital, a middle‑school committee member, the chief of Shin‑gwang village, the Pohang Tourism Promotion Cooperative, and a tenants’ committee for shops around the Pohang Convention Center.
Participants raised issues such as welfare service difficulties, school commuting problems, the planned installation of a new transmission tower, the Heukho Park cable‑car project, and concerns of nearby shop owners. Kim pledged to review each matter with city and county council members, coordinate with relevant agencies, and seek concrete solutions, emphasizing that even minor inconveniences will be addressed.
