South Korean local governments host integrity talk concerts
Local government offices in South Korea are hosting interactive integrity talk concerts to foster transparent organizational cultures and bridge generational gaps among employees.
In Buk-gu, Daegu, District Head Lee Geun-su participated in a session with approximately 120 employees. The event featured programs such as ‘Questions for the District Head’ and discussions regarding differences in how various ranks perceive work instructions. The goal is to build mutual respect and understanding between senior leaders and junior staff to establish a foundation for integrity.
Similarly, Jecheon City held a concert for approximately 300 public officials. Moving away from traditional lecture-style training, the event combined musical performances and sand art with real-time digital voting to discuss organizational values. Mayor Lee Sang-cheon emphasized that integrity is a cornerstone for gaining citizen trust and ensuring transparent administration.
