South Korean Minister seeks bus driver who assisted passenger

South Korean Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Yun-deok has expressed his desire to find and commend a bus driver who went above and beyond to assist a passenger in distress.

The incident occurred on an express bus traveling from Seoul to Yangsan. A passenger with mobility issues experienced a bathroom accident during the trip. Upon arriving at a rest area, the driver personally assisted the passenger by washing them and helping them change into clean clothes. A fellow passenger also assisted the driver by purchasing new clothing for the individual.

Following the story's viral spread on social media, Minister Kim stated on X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook that he wishes to award the driver a ministerial commendation for showing such sincerity and kindness toward a neighbor in a difficult situation.
