South Korean President to visit Mexico to strengthen bilateral ties

Higinio Martínez Miranda, President of the Mexican Senate, met with Jooil Lee, the designated Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Mexico, to discuss the upcoming visit of South Korean President Lee Jae-myung.

Martínez Miranda described the upcoming presidential visit as a historic opportunity to reaffirm friendship and strengthen bilateral relations between Mexico and South Korea. He noted that current cooperation is robust across commercial, cultural, scientific, technological, and sporting sectors, built on mutual respect and trust.

Ambassador Jooil Lee stated that the presidential visit will help consolidate the strategic partnership between the two nations, following previous diplomatic engagements such as the visit from the Vice President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea.
