South Korean rookie Yoon In-a leads KPMG Women's PGA Championship
South Korea's 2‑year LPGA Tour rookie Yoon In-a opened the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in Minnesota with a 9‑under‑par 63, recording nine birdies and topping the leaderboard after round one. The following day she posted a 3‑under‑par 69, including five birdies and two eagles, to stay solo‑leader at 12‑under‑par 132 heading into the third round.
Yoon said she was focused on her game and anticipated a challenging final two rounds. Fellow Korean competitors also performed well: Kim Ah‑rim and Yu Hae‑ran tied for second place, while rookie Lee Dong‑i shared sixth place. World‑ranked players such as Kim Hyo‑ju and Kim Se‑young were further down the leaderboard.
