South Korean universities host career development and employment camps

South Korean universities are conducting various programs to enhance student career development and regional integration. Wonkwang University recently hosted a joint employment camp for students from the Yeong-Honam region, including Dong-A University and Chosun University. The program utilized a ‘MARKET PLACE’ management strategy simulation, allowing 60 participants to practice business decision-making in a virtual corporate environment to build collaborative and professional skills.

Separately, Chonnam National University completed its ‘My Way JOB-da’ talent growth project in Yeosu. This career exploration camp focused on helping lower-division students identify personal strengths and align them with regional industries. The event featured a hackathon for corporate problem-solving and a talk concert with alumni currently working at major companies such as POSCO, Hana Bank, and Hanwha Aerospace to provide practical industry insights and career roadmaps.
