South Korean universities announce 2027 academic year admission rates
Several South Korean universities have announced their competition rates for the 2027 academic year rolling admissions.
Soongsil University reported a record high competition rate of 23.69 to 1, with 41,059 applicants for 1,740 positions. The essay-based track saw a significant surge to 67.98 to 1, attributed to changes in evaluation ratios and relaxed CSAT minimum requirements. Ewha Womans University plans to select 2,092 students, representing 64% of its total quota, through rolling admissions.
