South Korean welfare and volunteer centers hold management training

In South Korea, local organizations are conducting specialized training sessions to improve management capabilities in the social welfare and volunteer sectors.

The Haman-gun Child and Social Welfare Foodservice Management Support Center held a collective training session for directors and heads of registered food service facilities. The program focused on enhancing hygiene and safety management to prevent food poisoning. Center Director Kang Ok-ju emphasized that consistent practice in the field is essential for maintaining a safe dining environment for children and social welfare users.

Meanwhile, the Uijeongbu Volunteer Center conducted capacity-building training for managers of registered volunteer sites. The curriculum included practical sessions on using artificial intelligence (AI) technology to improve administrative efficiency and training on the 1365 Volunteer Portal. The initiative aims to help managers better communicate with volunteers and streamline field operations through modern technological tools.
