South Korean woman dies after fall in Happy Valley

A 71-year-old South Korean woman died after falling from a first-floor balcony at a building on Lok Fu Road in Happy Valley. Police were notified by security personnel around 4:00 AM on August 9. Upon arrival, officers confirmed the woman had passed away at the scene.

A suicide note was recovered at the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest the woman had a history of mental health issues. The exact cause of death is pending an autopsy.
