South Korean youth programs focus on aerospace and future technology

South Korean regional and national organizations are hosting specialized programs to foster interest in science, technology, and aerospace among youth.

Yuseong-gu is organizing the 12th ‘NaBe Hanmadang’ career and job experience fair at the National Science Museum. The event features over 80 booths covering fields such as AI, robotics, and space. The program includes lectures from experts in semiconductor materials and aerospace engineering to help students discover career paths in next-generation deep tech.

Separately, the Korea AeroSpace Administration, organized by the Korea Science and Space Youth Association, recently concluded its 4th Space Camp. Thirty high school students participated in a three-day program involving model rocket design, construction, and flight principle studies. The camp included a visit to observe the fifth launch of the Nuri rocket to connect theoretical engineering with real-world space development.
