South of Chaos Festival announces 2027 lineup in Millau

The South of Chaos Festival has announced its inaugural edition, scheduled to take place on July 3 and 4, 2027, in Millau, France. Organized by the association Metalheads Millau, the open-air event will be held at the Maladrerie site at the foot of the Grands Causses.

The festival focuses on extreme music, specifically black metal and death metal, and will feature a single stage for two days of performances. The first half of the lineup includes 11 bands, such as I Am Morbid (USA), Marduk (Sweden), Vader (Poland), Misþyrming (Iceland), and Vomitory (Sweden). Other confirmed acts include Gorod, Towering, Mourir, Acod, Numidian Killing Machine, and Eternal Hunt.

The organizers have stated that an additional 11 bands will be announced in the coming months to complete the full roster of 22 groups.
