South Pars Gas Field infrastructure and production efforts accelerate

Key equipment and infrastructure for Phase 13 of the South Pars Gas Field are nearing completion. Recent technical milestones include the installation of gas dehydration compressors, ethane recovery units, and CO2 fire suppression packages. Additionally, the construction and commissioning of the southern butane tank and the refinery's gasoline unit have been completed and handed over to the operator.

Efforts are also underway to maximize gas production ahead of the winter season. Officials from the National Iranian Oil Company and Pars Gas Company met to coordinate the reconstruction of refineries in Phases 4, 5, 9, 10, and 14 that were reportedly damaged during recent conflicts. The South Pars field remains a strategic asset, providing over 70 percent of the country's gas supply. Plans are in place to complete the remaining onshore refinery sections of Phase 13 by late December.
