South-South residents in Kogi support Ododo and Tinubu for 2027

Indigenes of the South-South states residing in Kogi State have declared their support for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a press release issued by the Forum’s Acting Secretary, Kingsley Oshilime, the group—which includes people from Edo, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River States—expressed appreciation to Governor Ododo for his leadership and reception in Lokoja. The group noted that the Governor had previously been conferred with the traditional title of ‘Oshio’ by South-South stakeholders in recognition of his commitment to unity and development.

The community reaffirmed its loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that the party and its leaders remain their only option for the upcoming elections.
