South Sulawesi officials inaugurate Korpri boards and BPD members

In South Sulawesi, Regional Secretary Jufri Rahman inaugurated the new management boards for the Indonesian Civil Servants Corps (Korpri) in Enrekang Regency and Parepare City for the 2026-2031 term. The ceremonies took place on September 23, 2026, at the Enrekang Regent's Office and the BJ Habibie Auditorium in Parepare.

Rahman urged the new officials to act with responsibility and commitment to ensure Korpri remains a solid, adaptive, and competitive organization. He noted that Korpri serves a broader purpose than just a professional forum for civil servants.

Simultaneously, in Pariaman, Mayor Yota Balad inaugurated hundreds of members of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) for the 2026-2034 period. The newly sworn-in members represent various districts, including North, South, East, and Central Pariaman.

Balad emphasized that the BPD must act as a strategic partner to village governments to ensure accountable and transparent administration. He called for harmonious cooperation between village heads and the BPD to focus on community needs and village development.
