South Surrey senior men's golf championship wraps up as Sunland clubs host multiple golf events

The Senior Men’s Golf Club Championship at Nico Wynd Golf Course in South Surrey concluded on July 23, 2026. Forty‑five of the club’s 87 members competed in both gross and net categories. Jamie Mills won the gross title, becoming the first‑time senior champion, while Boivin and McPhee tied for the net lead with a two‑day score of 132.

In nearby Sunland, the Men’s Golf Club staged several competitions in July. A yellow‑ball scramble on July 22 saw the team of Greg Mullikin, Bob Gunn, Dan Marchefka and David Walp claim the overall gross win. Earlier events on July 15 and July 8 produced individual gross and net winners, including Martin, Brian Scheibner, Thomas Kummet and others. The Sunland Women’s Golf Club also held a Pandora’s Box tournament, won by the team of Claudia Williams, Cynthia Edel and Teri King, and an “O‑N‑E‑S” competition with multiple individual winners.
