South West London hosts various Halloween and half term events

Various family-oriented activities and seasonal events are scheduled for the October half term and Halloween period in the South West London area and surrounding regions.

Key events include the Wimbledon Bookfest, featuring author talks and family programming, and Halloween celebrations at Kew Royal Botanic Gardens involving light displays and themed decorations. Hever Castle in Kent will host science-themed Halloween activities, including a Mad Scientists Trail and crafts.

Additionally, Trafalgar Square will host a large Diwali celebration featuring South Asian music, dance, and food markets. For a themed experience, a Halloween afternoon tea bus will operate through late October, traveling past major London landmarks.
