South West Peninsula League results feature Holsworthy and Camelford updates

In the South West Peninsula League Premier West, Holsworthy secured a 2-2 draw against Wadebridge Town at Upcott Field. Despite Rory Simmons being sin-binned for dissent in the first half, Holsworthy managed to equalize through Sam Lynam. Wadebridge Town took a 2-1 lead following a goal by Jack Clarke, but Simmons scored a late equalizer in injury time to earn the hosts a point.

Camelford returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Wendron United. Goals from Matt Gilmour and Dan Hocking secured the win for the Camels. Player-manager Bobby Hopkinson noted that while the scoreline may have flattered the team, they played positive football and dominated large portions of the match.
