South West Water offers free water-saving devices in Devon

South West Water is providing free water-saving devices to customers in Devon to help reduce water consumption and lower household bills. The initiative specifically targets households with water meters.

The available equipment includes shower regulators that limit flow to eight litres per minute, Flowpoint shower heads capable of reducing usage by over 40 per cent, and twin tap inserts that can halve tap flow. Additionally, the company is offering LeakyLoo detection strips to identify hidden toilet leaks, as well as kitchen stream swivel tap aerators.

Megan Williams, water efficiency delivery manager for South West Water, stated that these devices offer a straightforward way for residents to reduce water use without altering daily routines. The company noted that the program aims to support long-term environmental resilience and protect natural water resources.
