Southampton International Boat Show features new high-tech motorboats

The Southampton International Boat Show has showcased a variety of new high-technology motorboats, featuring both global launches and UK debuts. The event highlights advancements in design, versatility, and performance across different vessel categories.

Notable models include the Saxdor 460 GTC, recognized for its convertible pilothouse, and the Axopar 38 XC, which utilizes twin V8 Mercury engines to reach speeds of 47 knots. Other featured vessels include the Viknes 10, which received an award for best family cruiser, and the world premiere of the Cockwells Duchy 45. The Duchy 45 features a semi-displacement hull designed by Andrew Wolstenholme and offers a spacious layout with an extended bathing platform and optional galley-down configurations.
