Halloween events Knott’s Scary Farm Delusion: Den of the Mosquito pop culture satire immersive horror

Southern California is hosting various immersive horror experiences for the Halloween season. Knott’s Scary Farm is featuring a comedy stunt show titled ‘The Hanging: Noosemaxing’ in its 2026 edition. The show uses a Western-style hanging format to satirize recent pop culture, including targets such as Star Wars, Toy Story 5, and Flock Safety’s license plate recognition cameras.

Separately, the immersive event Delusion is returning to the Beckett Mansion in Los Angeles with its latest production, ‘Den of the Mosquito’. Running from September 17 to November 8, the experience features a choose-your-own-adventure narrative set in 1920s New Orleans, involving supernatural threats and a secret organization known as Anomaly.
