Southern California theme parks prepare for Halloween season

Southern California theme parks are preparing for the Halloween season, offering various events and decorations for families and horror enthusiasts. Major attractions include Disneyland Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, Knott’s Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, SeaWorld San Diego, and Legoland California.

At Disney California Adventure, Cars Land features seasonal redesigns, including themed rides such as Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Mater’s Graveyard Jam. The Disneyland Resort also hosts the Oogie Boogie Bash, a hard-ticketed after-hours event featuring trick-or-treat trails, character interactions, and the Villains Grove experience. For 2026, the event is expected to include Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake.
