Southern Future Council announces restructuring in Hadramaut

The Southern Future Council held an extensive meeting in Seiyun to announce a major organizational restructuring within the Hadramaut Valley and Desert regions. Led by Chairman Al-Mansab Hassan Bawazir, the council approved the creation of 18 specialized departments comprising 48 leaders and staff members to improve political and field presence.

The restructuring aims to distribute responsibilities more effectively and expand community and political participation. In a final statement, the council emphasized the unity of Hadramaut, asserting that its coast, valley, and desert form an inseparable fabric.

Regarding regional security, the council declared that confronting the Houthi group is a necessity to protect the security of the South, Saudi Arabia, and the wider region. The council reaffirmed its support for the stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, rejecting any threats against Saudi territory or regional security.
