Southern Norway weather: Strong winds followed by summer-like warmth
Southern Norway is expecting variable weather during the first week of the autumn holidays. A yellow warning for strong wind gusts was issued, with gusts expected to reach 25 to 28 meters per second. The wind is predicted to hit Vestlandet initially before moving north through Møre og Romsdal, Trøndelag, and up to Finnmark.
Following the wind, temperatures are expected to rise, with some areas seeing an unseasonable return of summer-like conditions. Meteorologist Eldbjørg Moxnes noted that some locations could exceed 20 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. In Bergen, temperatures are forecasted to reach 23 degrees Celsius. While the weather remains unstable with periods of rain and sunshine, the forecast for the upcoming weekend remains uncertain.
