Southern Railway announces 67 sports quota vacancies

Southern Railway has announced a recruitment drive for 67 sports quota positions for the 2026-27 period. The vacancies span various pay levels, from Level 1 to Level 5, with salaries ranging from approximately Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 29,200.

Available disciplines include athletics, boxing, basketball, cricket, cue sports, football, volleyball, tennis, golf, and swimming. Candidates must have represented themselves at state or national-level competitions. Educational requirements vary by level but generally include 10th pass, ITI, NAC, 12th, or graduation.

Online applications are scheduled to open on 26 September 2026 and will close on 25 October 2026. The selection process will involve sports performance evaluation and document verification.
