Southern Transitional Council advances mobilization and service discussions in Yemen

The Southern Transitional Council (STC) is advancing public mobilization efforts and addressing local governance issues across several districts in Yemen. In Hadramaut, Abdulmalik Mohsen Al-Tamimi, a member of the STC presidency, reviewed registration procedures for public mobilization in the Al-Sum district. Al-Tamimi noted high participation rates and reported that the Amd and Rukhiya districts have already completed their registration processes as part of efforts to defend southern territories.

In Al-Mahra province, the STC local leadership in Al-Ghaydah held its monthly meeting to discuss regional developments and service conditions. The leadership expressed support for the general mobilization called for by STC President Aidarous al-Zubaidi and emphasized the need for national unity. The meeting also addressed the deterioration of essential services in Al-Ghaydah, specifically electricity, water, health, and education, calling for urgent improvements to alleviate citizen suffering.
