Southern Transitional Council emphasizes unity and security in Yemen
The Southern Transitional Council (STC) is intensifying efforts to unify southern political ranks and enhance security measures across various districts in Yemen. In Aden, the STC local leadership held meetings to coordinate with security agencies to combat sleeper cells and manage public mobilization efforts.
Regional branches in Lahj and other areas have also convened to discuss organizational matters, emphasizing the importance of public mobilization to defend southern territory. These meetings addressed the need for heightened security vigilance to monitor suspicious activities and protect national achievements against threats, including recent Houthi missile attacks on military personnel in Shabwah.
The STC leadership continues to advocate for the establishment of an independent southern state, positioning itself as the representative of the southern people's aspirations while calling for solidarity among all national components to face current regional and security challenges.
