Southern Transitional Council holds security and humanitarian meetings in Aden and Lahj

The Southern Transitional Council (STC) held monthly executive meetings in the Mansoura district of Aden and the Karsh district of Lahj to discuss organizational, security, and humanitarian issues.

In Mansoura, officials addressed the increasing number of displaced persons arriving in Aden, noting the resulting pressure on security and public services. The meeting emphasized the need to manage this file to maintain humanitarian needs and general stability while reinforcing organizational activities.

In Karsh, leaders focused on military readiness and border security. Discussions included the integration of local authority and STC leadership to address military developments in border areas. Local officials reported on the formation of emergency committees for relief and medical supplies, alongside efforts to recruit local volunteers to support the Southern Armed Forces.
