Southern Transitional Council leader emphasizes role of Southern Army

Sheikh Saleh Hassan Al-Mansouri, a member of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan, emphasized the strategic importance of the Southern Armed Forces in protecting national achievements and maintaining security and stability.

Speaking in the Serar district during the 55th anniversary of the Southern Army's founding, Al-Mansouri highlighted the institution's role in establishing the structures of the Southern state. He noted the military's resilience following the 2015 war, specifically in confronting Houthi militia activities.

Al-Mansouri reaffirmed the commitment of the Serar district to the Southern Transitional Council, led by President Aidarous al-Zoubaidi, and rejected any external political coordination efforts that contradict the will of the Southern people.
