Southern Transitional Council official warns against coordination councils
Nasr Harhara, a member of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) presidency and Vice President of the National Assembly, has criticized the emergence of so-called “coordination councils.” Harhara claims these councils are designed to fragment the Southern cause by inciting conflicts between different governorates.
He asserted that these bodies serve as contact points for foreign interests to undermine Southern national sovereignty. According to Harhara, the strategic goal is to create artificial representation for the upcoming Riyadh dialogue, thereby undermining the STC’s position as the legitimate political representative of the South. He warned Southern figures against joining these projects for personal gain, suggesting they would merely serve as tools for external agendas.
