Southfield authorities search for missing author Christian Cook

Authorities and family members are searching for Christian Cook, a 29-year-old published author from Southfield, Michigan, who has been missing since Sunday. Cook was last seen walking near the intersection of 11 Mile and Inkster roads. Her family reported that she stopped at a nearby 7-Eleven and was believed to be near Pebble Creek Park.

Search efforts involving Southfield Fire, Oakland County sheriff’s deputies, and canine units have focused on the area near the Rouge River, but no sign of her has been found. Cook’s family noted that she is currently facing mental health challenges and left her residence without identification or medication.

Cook was last seen wearing a black dress with white polka dots. Her family is urging the public to remain vigilant and contact the Southfield police immediately if any information is provided.
