Southwest Airlines offers 40% discount on select US flights

Southwest Airlines has announced a promotion offering 40% off the base fare on select domestic routes within the United States. The discount applies to both paid fares and award flights.

To qualify for the offer, travelers must book by October 22, 2026. The valid travel period spans from November 9, 2026, to March 3, 2027. Certain blackout dates apply during the holiday seasons of late 2026 and early 2027, specifically around November 28, November 29, December 26–28, January 2, and January 3.

Specific travel restrictions exist for routes involving Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas. For example, travel from the continental U.S. to these locations is valid on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, while travel to the continental U.S. from these locations is valid on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
