Southwest Germany announces 2026 trade fair schedule

The Southwest German region between Lake Constance and the Black Forest has announced a diverse schedule of trade fairs and exhibitions for 2026. Notable events include the Tuning World Bodensee in Friedrichshafen, the International Bodensee Week in Konstanz, and various specialized expos for housing, energy, and employment.

At the Südback 2026 trade fair in Stuttgart, scheduled for October 24–27, the German Bread Institute (Deutsches Brotinstitut) will offer a specialized service at the Southwest Bakers' Guild stand. Professional visitors will have the opportunity to bring their own bread for sensory quality testing conducted by an institute bread tester. This service aims to highlight the quality of German baking craftsmanship, which includes over 3,000 bread specialties recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage.
