Sovereignty and Knightsbridge to retire to Jonabell Farm
Darley America has announced that the racehorses Sovereignty and Knightsbridge will retire to stand at stud at Jonabell Farm next year. Both colts are owned by Godolphin.
Sovereignty, the 2025 Horse of the Year and champion three-year-old male, is a winner of the Kentucky Derby, Belmont Stakes, and Travers Stakes, and most recently won the Whitney (G1). Depending on his participation in the Breeders' Cup Classic, Knightsbridge may be directed toward the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile.
Knightsbridge, a winner of the Pacific Classic (G1) and the Monmouth Cup (G3), will join the existing stallion roster at Jonabell Farm, which includes Nyquist. Breeding fees for both horses will be announced following the Breeders' Cup.
