Sovico Group partners with Victoria Hoa Binh University

Sovico Group, led by billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, has officially announced its partnership with Victoria Hoa Binh University. The announcement coincided with the university's rebranding from Hoa Binh University and the establishment of the Victoria School of Medicine and Pharmacy.

The event, held at Mailand HaNoi City, marked a new milestone for the institution, which has been operating for 18 years. Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau attended the ceremony to present the Prime Minister's decision regarding the name change.

Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao stated that the group's investment aims to create a space for learning, research, and creativity, noting that “investing in university is investing in people and the future of the country.” The university currently serves 8,000 students with a staff of 350, and expects to welcome 1,800 new students for the 2026–2027 academic year.
