Soyaux-Angoulême defeats Montauban 45-7 in Pro D2

Soyaux-Angoulême secured a dominant 45-7 victory over Montauban in their Pro D2 match at Chanzy. After Montauban initially took a 7-5 lead in the 17th minute, Soyaux-Angoulême responded with a 40-point unanswered run.

The winning effort included seven tries, with Kaminieli Rasaku scoring twice and Samuel Nollet adding a brace from the bench. The victory earned Soyaux-Angoulême an offensive bonus point, moving them to fifth place in the standings with nine points after three matchdays.

This performance marks a significant turnaround for the team following a 39-22 loss to Valence-Romans the previous week. Montauban, who had started the season with two wins, struggled to maintain pressure against the Charentais side.
