Soybean prices in Argentina reach 520,000 pesos per ton

Soybean prices in the Argentine domestic market have reached 520,000 pesos per ton, representing a 37% increase compared to the previous year. This rise, which exceeds accumulated inflation, has triggered significant export activity. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, exporters recorded shipments of approximately 500,000 tons, while producer sales reached a daily record for the 2025/26 campaign.

In terms of US dollar valuation, the price reached approximately US$ 350 per ton, an 18% year-on-year increase. This growth is supported by a rise in the FOB value, which reached US$ 477 per ton, enhancing the purchasing capacity of exporters. The theoretical export margin reached US$ 12 per ton, the highest level since late July.

In the Rosario market, soybeans closed the week with a cumulative gain of 15,000 pesos per ton. Meanwhile, in the Chicago international market, soybean contracts for September delivery saw a weekly increase of 4.01%, valued at US$ 450.11 per ton.
