Soyeon achieves chart success with solo debut ‘I’m Gonna TOESA’

Soyeon, the leader of the group (G)I-DLE, has achieved significant success with her official solo debut. Her lead single, ‘I’m Gonna TOESA’, from her first studio album ‘What A Wonderful Life’, reached a ‘Real-time All-Kill’ on South Korean music charts on September 18, just over a week after its September 7 release.

The song, which translates to ‘I’m going to quit my job’, explores themes of workplace fatigue, stress, and the desire to escape monotonous professional life to enjoy personal freedom. The music video utilizes a retro aesthetic and features Soyeon portraying an office worker seeking to break free from the daily grind through humorous and rebellious actions.
