Soyeon to release first solo studio album on September 7

Soyeon, a member of the group (G)I-DLE, is set to release her first solo studio album, titled ‘Awesome Life’, on September 7 at 6:00 PM. This marks her first full-length solo project in five years and two months since her mini-album ‘Windy’.

Cube Entertainment released an intro film on August 26 to coincide with Soyeon's birthday. The video chronicles her journey from her early years and trainee period through her appearance on ‘Produce 101’ and her subsequent debut and producing career with (G)I-DLE. In the film, Soyeon expressed her reflections on her growth, stating that she hopes to look back on this album in the future and find it “romantic.”

Prior to this announcement, Soyeon previewed new tracks including ‘STAR’ and ‘I Hate Vegetables Song’ during the ‘Waterbomb Sokcho 2026’ event.
