Soyou reveals new home funded by long-term stock investments

Singer Soyou has revealed her new home, which she purchased using profits from a long-term stock investment. Ten years ago, she invested approximately 100 million won in Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix as a way to study the market.

In a video shared on her YouTube channel, Soyou showcased the interior of her new residence, which includes specialized spaces such as a cypress wood sauna and a home gym. She noted that the investment returns provided the necessary funds to move into the new property.

While Soyou’s long-term strategy resulted in significant gains, other South Korean entertainers have reported losses after entering the market during price surges. Figures such as Hong Jin-kyung, Mija, and Kim Won-hoon shared stories of financial difficulties following high-priced purchases of similar semiconductor stocks.
