Sozopol daily tourist costs range from 18 to over 80 euros

Daily tourist expenditures in the Bulgarian resort town of Sozopol range from 18 to over 80 euros, excluding transportation and accommodation. This finding was released by the online platform ‘We, the Consumers’ during a visit in early August.

Costs vary significantly based on consumer choices. Breakfast options range from 1.20 to 2.50 euros for traditional pastries from local kiosks to 7 euros for eggs with vegetables and juice at a restaurant. Coffee prices fluctuate between 2.30 and 4 euros depending on the location.

Beach expenses also show wide disparities. While tourists can use their own equipment in free zones for no cost, rental prices for umbrellas and sunbeds vary from approximately 3.58 euros at the Central Beach to over 50 euros for a set at locations like Kavakite and Smokinya. The report also notes that requiring customers to rent items only in combinations is considered an unfair practice.
