SP 263 roadworks begin between Frascineto and Castrovillari

Roadwork has commenced on the SP 263 provincial road in Italy, specifically on the section connecting the A2 motorway junction at Frascineto to Castrovillari. The project involves bituminization to improve the safety and accessibility of the route.

Regional Councilor Riccardo Rosa noted that this stretch has long been a critical issue for daily commuters. The intervention is part of a broader effort by the Province of Cosenza to requalify the road network in inland areas. This specific section is considered the first phase of what is intended to become the Ejano road, a strategic link for the Pollino region.
