SP AGRI and Studio Target win Innovation Premier 1000 in South Korea
Agriculture technology firm SP AGRI was selected for the 2026 Innovation Premier 1000 program, a government initiative led by the Financial Services Commission and 13 ministries to support innovative small‑ and medium‑sized enterprises. The company operates a 7,000‑pyeong high‑tech farm in Seosan, Chungnam, where AI and ICT control temperature, humidity and light to produce strawberries year‑round, and it plans to expand production with the Agri‑Fab facility that combines AI and robotics.
Content‑creation studio Studio Target was also named a 2026 Innovation Premier 1000 company, recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism among 25 leading content firms. The firm’s strengths in IP development, AI‑enhanced production processes and global co‑production were highlighted, and it aims to broaden licensing, overseas partnerships and investment to boost the competitiveness of Korean content worldwide. SP AGRI CEO Park Dae‑sung said the selection validates the company’s innovative farm model, while Studio Target CEO Kim Do‑yeon noted the award confirms the firm’s IP and technology capabilities.
