S&P Global Energy to participate in African Mining Week 2026

S&P Global Energy will send a delegation of senior executives to the African Mining Week (AMW) in Cape Town, scheduled for October 14-16, 2026. The event focuses on the theme “Mining the Future: Critical Resources, Sustainability and Community Development.”

With Africa holding approximately 30% of the world’s mineral reserves, the continent is seeing increased investment driven by global demand for critical minerals used in clean energy technologies, defense, and advanced manufacturing. S&P Global experts will present proprietary data and moderate panels on topics such as mining code reforms, resource contracts, investor certainty, and refining investment.
