S&P Global leads $110 million Series B funding for Kaiko

S&P Global has led a strategic investment to extend Kaiko’s Series B funding round to $110 million. The Paris-based digital asset market data and indices provider is building infrastructure to support tokenized financial markets.

The funding round includes a diverse group of traditional finance and blockchain-focused investors, such as BNP Paribas, Nasdaq Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Royal Bank of Canada, Bpifrance, and DRW Venture Capital. These participants will also collaborate with Kaiko on an industry working group to establish data standards for tokenized products.

Kaiko intends to use the capital to strengthen its core institutional-grade market data business and expand its on-chain financial infrastructure. This includes providing data services for tokenized Treasury bills, money market funds, equities, and bonds, helping to bridge the gap between blockchain activity and standardized information used by banks and asset managers for valuation and risk management.
