SPÖ leader condemns right-wing protest at party headquarters

Klaus Seltenheim, Federal Managing Director of the SPÖ, has issued a sharp critique following a disruptive action at the SPÖ federal party headquarters in Vienna. The incident, which reportedly involved right-wing extremists enveloping the building in thick smoke, is believed to be linked to an Identitarian march held on Saturday.

Seltenheim described the event as an alarming signal and an attempt at intimidation that has no place in a democracy. He emphasized that the party would not be deterred and would continue its fight against right-wing extremism through the ‘WIR SIND MEHR’ initiative.

Furthermore, Seltenheim criticized FPÖ leader Herbert Kickl for failing to distance himself from the Identitarian movement. He accused the FPÖ of making such groups politically acceptable and noted that Kickl has previously referred to the Identitarians as a ‘worthy project’ and a ‘right-wing NGO’.
