Spaarnwoude hosts Strong Viking Obstacle Run for 15,000 participants

Approximately 15,000 participants from 25 countries gathered in the Spaarnwoude recreation area for the Strong Viking Obstacle Run. The event featured various distances, ranging from a four-kilometer family run to marathon and Ultra Viking courses, all characterized by significant mud and numerous obstacles.

Polish athlete Patryk Kaleta completed an extreme 102-kilometer course, which included 250 obstacles. He achieved this by combining a marathon distance with the Ultra Viking distance. Kaleta performed this feat to raise funds for the Hartstichting, the charity officially partnered with this year's Strong Viking Obstacle Runs.
