Space-saving laundry drying solutions for small homes
New household technologies and designs are offering solutions for drying laundry indoors during cold or rainy seasons, particularly for those living in small spaces.
One option is the portable drying wardrobe. This device features a fabric cover with a heating element and a fan at the base that circulates warm air through the hanging garments. The moisture evaporates and exits through ventilation holes in the cover. These units are designed to be foldable, allowing them to be stored under a bed when not in use.
Another alternative is the vertical drying rack, which maximizes space efficiency through a multi-level design. Some models include three levels for items like towels and clothing, a bottom shelf for footwear, and rotating hangers for shirts or trousers to minimize wrinkles. High-capacity models can support up to 35 kilograms and feature locking wheels for stability and easy movement.
