Space42 launches Future Spacers Program for UAE talent
Space42, a UAE-based AI-powered SpaceTech company, has launched the Future Spacers Program to develop the next generation of local talent. The initiative is designed to support the UAE’s National Space Strategy 2031 by strengthening the nation’s knowledge economy and building professional skillsets in critical fields.
The program engages Emirati students in STEM, artificial intelligence, data management, and emerging technologies through sessions lasting up to 16 weeks at Space42 facilities. The inaugural 2026 cohort includes students from Khalifa University of Science and Technology, Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), and Zayed University, alongside schools identified by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK).
Participants will engage in theoretical seminars regarding space-based technology and AI-driven data analysis, alongside practical experience focused on industry challenges. The curriculum also includes professional development in areas such as problem-solving, collaboration, and communication.
