SpaceX growth driven by Starlink and AI computing expansion

SpaceX is experiencing significant growth driven by its diversified business model, which includes rocket launches, the Starlink satellite connectivity service, and an expanding artificial intelligence (AI) computing unit. The company recently achieved a major milestone with its 14th Starship test flight, successfully reaching orbit and deploying 26 Starlink satellites.

Financial analysts are increasingly bullish on the company’s trajectory. UBS expects SpaceX to beat third-quarter revenue estimates, potentially reaching $13.8 billion, fueled by rapid growth in AI and connectivity. TD Cowen identifies terrestrial AI compute leasing as a primary future revenue driver, projecting it could account for a majority of the company's total revenue by early 2027.

While the company's stock has seen pullbacks from post-IPO highs, some analysts, including those at Citi, suggest long-term valuation potential could be massive if Starship's capabilities continue to scale. The Starship program is viewed as a foundational technology that enables more efficient deployment of high-capacity Starlink and AI satellites.
